A closer look at some of the top Texas A&M Aggies signees in the 2025 recruiting class.

Class Grade: A

Texas A&M's strong finish, highlighted by a commit from five-star WR commit Jerome Myles, propelled it into a Top 10 finish nationally. It addressed team needs while bringing in high-quality prospects. The class includes 10 DCTF four-star in-state players, valued for their on-field talent, multi-sport abilities, and strong academic achievements. Mike Elko appears to have a winning formula for sustained success.

Three Key Additions

Who were the highest-rated signees or prospects who might come in and make a significant impact?

DT DJ Sanders (6'4, 290) - Bellville: The state's No. 1 DT overpowers blockers at the point of attack and uses his explosive first step to disrupt plays. With his size and speed, Sanders can be moved around the defensive front, creating mismatches.

TE Kiotti Armstrong (6'6, 250) - Jasper: The state’s No. 1 tight end, Armstrong is a towering prospect with elite length and a massive catch radius, reminiscent of former Texas A&M star Martellus Bennett. His ability to excel in contested catches and red zone situations showcases his high potential. With his fearless play and room to grow, Armstrong has serious NFL upside.

OT Lamont Rogers (6'7, 310) - Mesquite Horn: Rogers is a towering prospect with ideal size and length, using his reach to dominate defenders, particularly in pass protection. With continued refinement of his technique, he has the potential to become a dominant blindside protector. His consistent growth at Mesquite Horn has solidified his status as one of the state's top talents.

Fan Favorite

What prospect was a fan favorite or a local hero who starred near the campus?

RB Tiger Riden (5'10, 195) - DeSoto: A key contributor to DeSoto's back-to-back 6A Division II state titles, "Tiger" emerged with explosive athleticism and has since become a powerful running back, capable of outrunning or bulldozing through defenders.

Super Sleeper

We pick one prospect on the commit list and explain how he might outplay his ranking in college.

OL Nelson McGuire (6'4, 300) - Midlothian: McGuire's move to the offensive line unlocked his full potential. His athleticism and strong blocking made him one of the state's top prospects, propelling him from sleeper to national recruit.
