Columbus 2025 ATH Grayson Rigdon (5'11, 185) has committed to Arizona State over offers from Houston, North Texas, Arizona, Cal, NC State, Wyoming and more.
"For the next 3-4 years, I will be taking my talents to Arizona State," Rigdon said.
Rigdon, the three-time Six-Man Player of the Year, helped Columbus capture the 3A Division I state title this season, scoring four touchdowns in the championship game.
His TXHSFB resume includes leading Benjamin to back-to-back state championships and setting a state record with 21 career touchdowns in title games. Rigdon is also a four-time state championship game MVP, having earned both offensive and defensive MVP honors as a freshman at Strawn.
In his senior year, Rigdon adjusted seamlessly to 11-man football, rushing for 2,071 yards and 39 touchdowns, earning a DCTF three-star prospect ranking.
