Prospect on the Rise - 2025 Katy Mayde Creek EDGE Tobi Haastrup

Haastrup wasn't on anyone's radar because the London native had never played varsity football until this season. He exploded onto the scene with five sacks and eye-popping first-step speed. In less than a week, the 6-foot-4, 230-pounder has racked up 16 offers, including SMU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, LSU and Tennessee.

Commit of the Week - Grapevine 2025 DE Brad Stanyer

The 6-foot-5, 235-pounder committed to Kansas State, choosing the Wildcats over offers from Texas State, Air Force, Army, Yale, and others. Stanyer, an under-the-radar recruit, is praised by Grapevine head coach Bob DeBesse for his versatility and hard-nosed play.

Underclassman of the Week - 2026 Willis ATH Jermaine Bishop

The 5-foot-11, 155-pounder was nominated for Mr. Texas Football Player of the Week after collecting five receptions for 160 yards and two touchdowns and scoring on a 64-yard kickoff return. The DCTF four-star has double-digit offers, including TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Florida, Michigan, Oklahoma, USC and more.
